Working Principle Of A Shin Pad: When worn properly, Upon the hitter’s contact, the padding structure within, gets compressed due to resistance caused in the hitter’s path of momentum. A recoil is produced, as a result, creating a shock. Therefore, the base padding has been made very absorptive (to gallop much of the recoiling force), accommodative (to disperse force throughout the wrist & then towards the arm), elastic (to retract to the prior shape), and firm (to maintain its original shape afterwards).
